First finger foods?

What were your first finger foods for your baby? Everett is finally sitting well unsupported and I’m ready to give something a try. 
Also, what bowls or plates do you use?

Dont use any bowls or plates. Everything just goes on the high chair tray..
Avocado, banana, steamed veggies such a carrots, swt potato, broccoli, cauliflower.. did a few fruits too such a blueberries. Just make sure you cut them properly

Don’t use bowls at this stage, much easier for them to grab straight on the highchair tray. We gave him omlette, toast, cooked apple slices, strips of banana, all at 6 months! He eats everything now

Bananas was our first and we put it on the high chair tray so she was free to play and feel around.

If you use bowls or plates, prepare for them to be tipped over and grabbed immediately🤣
We did those teething crackers and eggs. We’re working our way up now that we’ve figured out the need to chew
