Last row of birth control pill

Hey ladies! So in December I started skipping the last row of my pill so that I wouldn’t get my period. December was great no blood just a little spotting one day but that’s it. Now in January I’ve been on my period for two weeks and it a little heavier than spotting like I’ll go through two liners everyday. It’s not a lot but it is annoying. Does it take tile to re-regulate like like when you first start the pill? Imma give it another month or so and it it doesn’t stop I’ll just go back to the normal routine.
