Get pregnant after depo

Hello! I had my 3rd child April 15 2020 and my husband was convinced we were done even though I wanted one more. So I got the depo shot and I bleed the entire time I was on it. I didn’t go back for the second shot in August.

I haven’t had a period since July when the shot wore off.

I am wondering how long it took you to get pregnant after one dose of the depo?

Also were you able to get pregnant before getting a period back?

I called the doctor hoping I could get a pill to help start my period and they told me no since the dose can stay in your system for up to a year and a half. :(
