Mini gender reveal

We found out at 9 weeks through a cupcake reveal similar to yours. And we both wanted a second girl as well and we were both disappointed when we saw the blue, but he definitely was more disappointed than me. So I understand mama. Just give him time, we just had the anatomy scan and confirmed he is in fact a boy and my husband is excited now, he has started talking to him and stuff. Once you pick names and start getting ready he should get more excited but just give him space for now and let yourself be excited. Congrats on the little boy mama 💙

I don’t have any advice but I’m sure he will warm up to it especially after your fella is born. Gender disappointment is real and his feelings are valid, though I am sorry that they got in the way of your happiness because it’s such exciting news! Congratulations on your sweet guy! Hopefully your husband comes around soon but in the meantime, try not to let his feelings about it rain on your parade ♥️

That’s how my husband’s family was with us this go around, they were all disappointed that we are having another girl (#3) because they wanted us to have a boy 🤦🏻‍♀️ my family was just thankful for a healthy baby because I had covid when I found out I was pregnant.
