Need brutally honest advice
I'll start off by saying I'm 17, eighteen next Summer. I've been on the mirena for 1year 3 months, I've had weird symptoms (cramps, bleeding, nausea, fatigue, back pain, ovarian cysts) and I attribute all of them to the mirena. I love the idea of the birth control, and mostly don't have a problem with it. My boyfriend is almost 21 and has a 1 year old daughter, whom I love very much. He wants another kid someday (in the next 2 years). We're both out of high school, and I'm graduating college in November 2016. I really would like to switch birth controls, but I'm unsure if its a good idea right now. If I got pregnant I wouldn't be upset, but I also wanna switch from mirena to something else. I don't know if I'm making an irrational decision, or if I should just keep the mirena in and deal with it. I need someone to tell me their opinion on what they'd do... Normally I go to my mother in these, but I don't think she'll quite understand. Someone help?
