How many items did/do you have on your registry?

I am a teen mom (19) and parents recommended making a registry. But I don’t know what would be a good amount of items to put on there without it looking... Tacky? I have a big family too.
I don’t know maybe I’m overthinking? Is there such thing as “too large” of a registry?

We had over 100 with a range of prices ($3 to $600 (stroller)). We knew everything wasn’t going to be purchased but you get a discount on what’s left so we put EVERYTHING on the registry even if we intended to buy it ourselves.

only 5. i’m 19 weeks almost 20 however i bought everything we need except the bassinet. we have everything including diapers & wipes since i don’t expect to be gifted much from the registry. i added 5 random things just to have them on there if anyone wanted to gift us anything but it’s more of a want not need situation. i work full time & my baby’s dad as well, i’m 20 he’s 23 living in our own apartment so we have spoiled our little baby boy so much ❤️

Put everything you think you’ll need. In my experience some people bought off the registry while a lot of people didn’t. But it’s a list of what you need. What isn’t bought you buy for yourself. And many companies give you a discount on the things you buy off your own registry.

IMO the baby registry is a suggestion for people who want to gift you something. Having a wide range for prices is a good way to give people the option on how much they want to spend on a gift; e.g grandparents want to buy a big ticket item, a little cousin wants to gift something small like a bib or socks.
I don't think having many or expensive things on a baby registry is tacky.
I used my registry also as a reminder in things I still needed and what I want to buy. My baby is 6 months old and I still add things I see and like for the future, when she gets older. I am going to send it to anyone who wants to buy her a birthday gift.(I use the Amazon baby registry)

I put about 80 items, all at different price points. I was surprised that so many people actually bought off the registry and I got most of what I wanted/needed.
