When did your stitch start to feel better

Question

I have a second degree stitch and it’s still sore, slightly itchy and uncomfortable to cough or sneeze.

Mine never hurt or bothered me. If I took a big step or stretched they would pull a little but 95% of my day I forgot I had stitches. Only time I would remember was the first few poos after delivery haha. By 7 days post delivery I was 100% again.

I can’t remember exactly when it started feeling better, but when it was itchy or uncomfortable I would fill the perri bottle up with warm water and rinse it. It usually helped

If it itches, then it’s still healing and you must be pretty freshly post partum. Mine stopped itching and hurting when the stitches were gone and it was completely healed.
