Cervix pain / 36 weeks

Okay so you know how when you get lightning crotch and the baby will push on your cervix and it’s like a shooting pain? Well obviously I’ve had that. But I’ve had contractions and losing my plug more and more and my OB said I’m 1cm 75% effaced (as of Thursday). This is my third baby and I’ve never had my water break on its own. But what’s it feel like if it does? This baby was pushing on my cervix and it felt like a pop. I haven’t gotten up yet so I don’t know if that was anything unusual.
