This is my second pregnancy, my first was a scheduled csection at 40 +6, I have never experienced labor.

I had a really rough night on Thursday. I woke up at 1 am with terrible reflux/heartburn. I felt like I was going to throw up and had to use the bathroom a couple times. I had some contractions and cramping off and on until I was able to go back to sleep around 4:30. The contractions weren't overly painful or consistent just enough to be annoying.

I had an appointment on Friday, everything looked good. 1-2 cm, 50% effaced.

Friday night I had a spell of blurry vision, numbness in my hand and a mild headache. Checked my blood pressure, it was good. Called the doctor, symptoms resolved and they were not concerned.

Woke up without symptoms.

The blurry vision, numbness and headache happened again this morning. Symptoms resolved. Went to triage to be monitored. Everything looked good. They said to rest and hydrated. No concerns with blood pressure. Baby looked great on the monitor.

I guess my question is has this happened to anyone before labor started? I'm hoping its all just due to hormone fluctuations before labor.
