Extra fussy baby, is it just teething?

I know teething makes them fussy as he's been teething for around a month now. He has the two bottom ones currently. But I've noticed a drastic change in temperament over the last couple days. Crying as hard as he did as a newborn (he had colic). He doesn't cry all the time but it's very often and pretty rough. Hasn't tried any new foods that would have upset his stomach. I've tried Tylenol, tons of teething toys, binkies, those mesh feeders with frozen fruit. Nothing helps. Is this just normal teething or should I call his ped on Monday?
