4th week of BC, cramping & bleeding (tmi)

I just started my 4th week of BC pills yesterday (sunday). So it's the reminder pills right now. Today (Monday) I have fairly bad cramps and I am bleeding more than I have since starting the BC. Enough to wear a tampon. The past few weeks I have had some brown spotting and some brown "flaky" looking blood. But today I have larger clots and more red/brown blood. Is this normal when on the reminder pills?
