How painful is childbirth, really? 😭

This is my first pregnancy!! I'm happy, overjoyed, lucky to be chosen to be someone's mother and all of those things!! But Then I get nervous of the pain that comes with labor all of the sudden. 😭...can any ladies that have already gon through labor share how their experience was? What did you do daily during the pregnancy that maybe helped with the pain during labor? Did you get an epidural and when? Was it a natural birth? How was that? Just any calming details regarding the last couples of weeks. I'm due in October which is a ways away but I need to plan this out NOW 😂 because honey!
