Sleep sack?

My 20 week old has been sleeping in a magic Merlin knock off and loves it. Sleeps 11 hours every night and it’s wonderful. But this morning I looked on the monitor and he was on his belly. Since that’s not safe, we are attempting a sleep sack tonight and it’s horrible. He’s woken up 4 times already and it’s only 10:30 pm. 😭. Has anyone transitioned to a sleep sack yet? How long did it take your little one to get used to it?

My son currently uses the Merlin suit and hasn’t rolled yet but we use the Zipadee-zip during naps so I’m hoping it won’t be a difficult transition when we have to do it

*update. He rolled over onto his tummy at 10:50pm and then slept until I woke him up at 8am. Not too shabby!*

We use a sleep sack with our baby and he wakes up anywhere between 2 to 4 times at night for feeding.

Our baby gets up 1-3 times a night and has since the day she was born. In haven’t noticed a difference with the transition to a sleep sack from a swaddle. We use the nested bean sleep sacks. They have a weighted chick on the front that is suppose to mimic your hand resting on them. It’s suppose to help them sleep better.

My daughter is in the Merlin suit as well and sleeps about 11 hours every night. We are going to start practicing sleeping in a sleep sack for naps to hopefully make the transition easier. I’ve heard great thinks about the nested bean sleep sack and the dream land sleep sack. They are weighted so hopefully that will help the transition. Good luck!
