Quick rant

My bf and I have been together for a year now. I said I love you and it has taken him months to say it back once. I feel like the only reason he said it’s what I wanted to hear. I thought it was normal to tell the person you’re madly in love with how you feel. I feel like I’m walking on eggshells when I say it. Should I just end things? It hurts to think he doesn’t feel the same, am I being led on now 😪
