Help! Should I or not?

I have not had my period since oct. I just started trying December but scared I may have an issue. Went to the doctor he prescribed me Provera. Should I take it? Should I just try a couple months more than take it? My husband wants me to not take it and try normal. But I want to take it get the bloodwork but scared to find the truth! I am 27 y/o no health issues; dx with left temporal epilepsy (not generalized there’s a difference). Stressful job! Studying for my my state license as a therapist/ mental health clinician. Any advice?
