Couldn’t find baby with Doppler for a long time?

I couldn’t find the baby for a long time today, usually I can find her in a matter of seconds. I am about 18 weeks pregnant. Are they higher up at this time? I eventually found her but I could only catch her heartbeat for seconds at a time. I used the Doppler for about 25-30 minutes. Will that hurt her?

No it won’t hurt her. She has a lot of room in there right now so she’s probably just wiggling around quite a bit. Unless she’s still for a minute, it’s going to be hard to hear her hb. 🥺 it should get easier in the next few weeks as she grows

No it wont. They do move up higher, also baby is moving making it harder :)
