36+4 and baby’s head measures 41 weeks!?

Question

Has anyone else measured so far ahead at this stage? I saw the measurement today and got so nervous. I’m wondering if they’ll consider a csection at some point considering this baby is so big at this stage. 
Her other measurements put her adjusted age at 39 weeks. Will they change my due date? I don’t see me OB for another week.

They won’t change your due date at this stage because its just babies size not development (as in breathing lung development and sucking ability) however they may do a c section or just induce earlier if they feel baby might be too big to birth naturally. But as well them measurements could be off a bit.

At 37 weeks, I was measuring 43 weeks. They decided to induce me at 37w1d because they thought I might have cholestasis. My baby was 9lb7oz. If I would have went three more weeks he would have been really huge 😬 the earliest they would induce me just because of his size was 39 weeks though.

They’re inducing me because my baby is measuring 3 weeks ahead. My last also was like this and it was accurate, but I know ultrasound can be off! They are my inducing me until 39 weeks though.

At 37 weeks my son was measuring the same. They were saying 8.5lbs, 95th percentile. Head and stomach were measuring 40 weeks plus. I had him at 37 weeks 5 days and he was only 7lbs 9oz and his head was only in like the 15th percentile. Ultrasound measurements can be off be quite a bit. They say + or - 2 lbs. but usually they measure larger then they actually are.
