Should I be concerned?

My LO is 6 months old tomorrow and has only rolled belly to back once maybe. She has been rolling from back to belly since she was 4 months old and mastered it pretty quickly. She is also sitting up assisted (hands holding her up). She loves being on belly and can play on her belly for extended periods of time. Her 6 month appt is next week and I plan on bringing it up to her ped but I'm just wondering if anyone else is in the same boat?

My daughter will 6 months on the 14. Still has only rolled a hand full of times both ways. Loves to sit in her bumbo and play with toys. And had started to scoot across the floor. But yeah doesn’t roll much past her side

This is very normal and logical, babies often learn to roll from back to belly first as it gives them a new angle to look at things and explore the world! Now why would they roll from belly to back after seeing the new angle, to stare at the ceiling again which they stared at for 3-4 months already? The belly to back roll would happen naturally a bit later, around 7-8 months for example when they can sit in a "mermaid" position and want to see what's behind them 😊

My 6 month old has been sitting unassisted since 5 months, stands on her own while using a walker but doesn’t roll. ONLY when she’s super pissed you put her on her tummy and NEVER back to belly 💁🏼‍♀️

Mine does the opposite. He hates tummy time so he will only roll belly to back. He doesn’t want to be on his tummy so no motivation to roll back to belly. He will be 6 months in 2 Wks. Though the opposite, glad to know that he won’t the only one.

I don’t think you should be concerned. They all do things in their own time. 
My guy will be 6m the 15th. We rarely do tummy time anymore bc he hates it. I used to try and make him but it was short lived. He’s only rolled from belly to back maybe twice. Has never rolled from back to belly, only to his side. He cries anytime he falls over or forward onto his stomach and is left that way, so I just always sit him up. He could sit for hours unassisted. I’m still kinda like wth about him not rolling over but I just don’t think he knows “he’s supposed to.” 😆😬
My uneducated opinion is that your daughter is moving along just fine!

You’re welcome! What a cutie! I love dimples! Making another thread so I can post this pic of milestones that even says “most babies” bc they all move at their own pace! I’m a ftm so I’m always like 🥴🥴

For good measure here’s a pic of my babe! I really think he’s too chunky to roll over and just doesn’t care! Lol. His dad has been holding him up in the air like an acrobat since like 2m so he definitely has core strength considering how well he sits up. Plus he does basically everything else on the list except rolling. I’ll take it!
