First postpartum period?

Did any of you moms who have gotten your period back have cramping before you started? If so, how long did it last? I’ll be 14 months pp on the 12th and still have yet to get my period due to my little one nursing so often still. However, she’s been nursing a little less frequently lately and since then, I’ve been experiencing period type cramps low down in my pelvic area/uterus area for a week now. It’s definitely too low down to be a tummy ache. Not sure if it’s cramping due to a possible period coming or if it’s something else. Just wanting to see what other’s experiences were!
