How do you live with Anxiety, insomnia

The restless nights, the over thinking, the rapid heart beats, tossing turning over thinking leading to insomnia staying up all night based on all your stress, anxiety, worry.

How do you calm your brain down, heart down to sleep.

Have you ever woken up from a nightmare covered in sweat, heart racing, state of panic worry confusion thinking of dream meaning can't go to sleep with that anxiety you will have that dream again.

That's what it feels like.

Insomnia it's stressful you try to sleep then you can't you watch TV, read a book, might clean up, might use the bathroom, might stay in bed tossing turning but this is all a waste of time it's healthier to sleep at night wake up in the morning be productive.

Mostly at night when everything is quiet I think about the past I can't sleep with those negative thoughts feelings of wasting time but I stay up is not healthy

Also I have this phobia of the dark sleeping with no lights on I feel like I'm going to have a heart attack if I turn the lights off I stay up all night sometimes I'm not sure if it's because the lights on, or because I'm frightened the lights go out. It's like how do people overcome phobia of the dark while sleeping.

I feel stress's it weighs heavily on my mind before sleep
