I have been consistently measuring ahead with baby #3, so my OB ordered growth scans starting at 34 weeks. I am wondering if anyone can offer info on if your growth scans that late were accurate or pretty far off. I’m expecting a big baby because #2 was pretty big, but the numbers they are giving me are insane and they won’t induce until 39 weeks.

34+4 - 7lb, 11 oz

37+3 - 10lb, 7 oz

The tech said, and I know, they can be off at this point. But how far off?! I still have almost 2 weeks until I’m being induced (39+1), so if she gains the normal .5 lb per week she would be around 11.5 lbs!! And from the 2 ultrasounds she gained more than .5 lb per week. I am just so nervous to give birth to such a big baby or to end up having to have a c section.
