You can still get pregnant breastfeeding, the pullout method is ridiculous and not having a period yet won’t stop you from getting pregnant.

When I was breastfeeding I didn’t get my first period until after 6 months.. whenever I stopped breastfeeding. You can still get pregnant but I think it’s more slim, but don’t quote me on that lol. If you wanna test I would just go to the dollar store, the 1$ ones work just as well & you won’t spend an arm & leg on them to find out! ( I swear by those test.. they’ve worked for me every single time! ).

Take it and get that definitive answer. Reminder that pull out method is only 20% effective. I always tell people, it only takes 1 tiny sperm to fertilize an egg. Yes the odds are against it, but one drop of semen has hundreds of millions of sperm.

I didn’t get my period until 4 weeks after I stopped breastfeeding, which was 12 months pp. The last month I was barley producing anything, just enough for one feed a day. Everyone’s different.

I have known people who have kept off their period for over a year because of consistently nursing their baby. At the same time I like to keep some cheap Dollar Store pregnancy tests on hand. If you ever have a thought that maybe you are pregnant you might as well give it a try, especially if you want to drink you don't want to be worried that you could possibly be pregnant.

Take it for piece of mind. There's no harm double checking with a cheapie as you can still get pregnant with no period (you still ovulate while bf'ing)
