UK ladies bit of advice needed...

It’s my 3rd pregnancy and normally I would ring the gp to advise pregnancy and the midwife gets in touch a few days later to arrange booking in appointment. This time round I ring and they say I needed to go on the hospitals website and register the pregnancy there on some pregnancy notes page. I’ve done that nearly a week ago and heard nothing and am not even sure what I am waiting on... is it an email or a call or did you have a different process? Thanks in advance
