Does anyone else baby seem to prefer their husband??

Babygirl is EBF so she knows who has the goods, but I get really depressed sometimes that she seems to just light up for him and not me. I feel like I've broken our bond somehow because she just seems to trust him more. Does anyone else ever feel this way??

My husband gets all the smiles. He works from home and he’ll pop in to see us every couple of hours and my son will just be so happy to see him. This doesn’t happen with me but I don’t think it’s that he prefers his dad, I think it’s just that he’s with me all day so he doesn’t get the opportunity to be excited that I’ve come back

Honestly, no. I don’t feel this way. If my kids are happy to see dad or seem happier to see dad, there’s absolutely no reason for me to get upset. I know my kids and I have a fantastic bond and I want the same for them and their dad. How selfish of me would that be? 
I think what you’re feeling is okay, but you need to remember he’s her parent too and he’s probably ecstatic that she’s happy to see him. I’d rather my kids have great bonds with their dad than the opposite.

Me and my husbands “roles” are completely reversed. He is the SAHD, cleans mostly, and well we switch up who cooks. I work mo-fri, come home shotttt and have like evening baby duty. My husband and baby are Bffs he makes her laugh in ways i cant even yet. Even if i try to do exactly what he does... nothing of the same. I feel you!! But when she wants the goods, its all me.

My girl always give the biggest smiles for her daddy and I think it's precious!! Sometimes I will be trying to make her smile and he can just walk in the room and she's ear to ear, it's the cutest thing honestly.

I actually ready that baby’s identity is wrapped up in Mom and Dad is usually the first person they they realize is another person whom they like. That’s why a lot of baby’s say Dada first. At least that’s what google said when I asked why my baby is saying Dada and not Mama bc you better believe I have been training her HARD on the Mama lol

Try and enjoy it! I think it’s wonderful to see babe’s face light up when his daddy enters the room! 
Your LO will switch favorites throughout her lifetime, so just take advantage of the fact that you can free up some more time for you now that she’s in her wanting daddy mode. 
You will miss it when she switches back to needing you constantly.
