I don’t get the hate that Valentine’s Day receives 😂. When I was single I still didn’t hate it. I think it’s weird that people romanticize VDAY. If you’re single exchange gifts with friends or family members. You should show love everyday but making a national love day just hits different. We can exchange gifts before Christmas but Christmas still hits different. We can have a family dinner without Thanksgiving but Thanksgiving still hits different.

I don’t feel any particular way about it. I wouldn’t miss it if it no longer existed but my SO and I will take any chance to celebrate so it’s just another excuse/theme for our weekly date nights.Even when I was single, again it was an excuse to be festive with my friends—go out to dinner or just have Valentine’s-themed cocktails lol. It’s what you make of it (or don’t)

It’s a commercial holiday. You’re pressured to buy your significant other corny shit lol. There’s nothing wrong with celebrating but there really is no meaning behind it. Love should and can be shown daily.

Nah, I like it. Decorating the house with hearts and pink stuff, putting together valentines for my husband with my LO every day for his lunch, making a valentines day basket for my kid, baking valentines cookies and enjoying the themed candy.My husband and I don't really exchange gifts, he usually gets me flowers, which are great because they cheer up the kitchen and we all enjoy them.I think it's great. I hated it when I was single and I hated it when I was in an unhappy relationship....so I think it's just a matter of perspective. Happy valentines day! ❤❤❤

I've never been the biggest fan. Only thing I do like about it is couples that have been together for a long time, who are now not very romantic. Make an effort to go for a meal on that day or a nice take away with candles (talking about my parents there 😊). I actually only went out once to a restaurant on Valentine's Day. It's a bad idea I think. Places were full and prices were more expensive. Best to go before or after.I can understand that it can be upsetting for people who wish to be in a romantic relationship and love is being shoved down their throats. It's just another day. You could always treat it as a day for treating your self.
