Baby wearing and coats

What are you baby wearing mamas using for going outside? I’m not at that point yet but anticipate walking and going outside once my midwife gives me the okay. I have an amazing Columbia coat, but I don’t think they sell extenders. Has anyone bought a coat extender for an existing, non maternity coat and it worked? I hate the idea of buying a cheap coat on Amazon just to wear my baby when I have an awesome coat already.

For reference I’m using a Beluga wrap to wear him, so it isn’t insulated or made for cold temps.
