My BF is a dom and wants to start to introduce me to things in the bdsm community. I’ve agreed to this and told him it would take time but I am fully committed to trying things that could be enjoyable. 
He wants to go shopping together and buy us a toy to use in the bedroom. I’ve used toys personally in the past but am unsure what would be a good “couples” toy. As a beginner, what are some good recommendations as a starting off point?

Well to start off, have you thought about what things you might be interested in trying? If not, I would suggest watching some BDSM porn to see what turns you on, or maybe ask your boyfriend what they like and want to try with you, and go off of that as a starting point.
