Round ligament pain or something else?

This happens at night mostly. I’ll get super sharp pains on the right side. It is where my ovary would be. It honestly reminds me of when I had an ovarian cyst rupture. It’s so painful I can not move. It lasts for quite a while and unfortunately isn’t only there if I move. It’s so sharp and almost puts me in tears. I’m 36 weeks but it’s been happening for awhile. Just keeps getting worse. It happened last night but when I woke up, it was gone. Does this sound like sound ligament pain? I never pictured it’d be quite this painful 😩

I’ve been getting this on my left side. Last time it was so bad I couldn’t move. I laid on the side that was causing pain with my arm up and out so my whole side was flat, I then curve my lower body almost in a fetal position while still being on my side. It hurt so bad to do this but after laying like this a few minutes and relaxing, all the pain had gone away.

I get it right there too on my right side. It goes away, sometimes, if I lay on my left side.

Sounds like ligament pain to me but maybe your doctor can reassure you. I think it's normal for the frequency and intensity to increase as you get bigger.

Following. I had this last night and it was excruciating. Whenever I’d move I’d feel it over my entire stomach and I couldn’t get rid of the pain no matter what I did. Eventually I gave up and laid back down and woke up this morning without any pain. Almost felt like severe gas pain!

This happens to me too! I chalk it up to be baby’s head pushing on a nerve
