How long did it take to go into labor after losing your mucus plug?

I’m at 37 weeks 2 days and woke up this morning to go to the bathroom and felt like something gushed out of me, when I wiped there was a glob with a bit of a reddish brown tint so I’m assuming it was my mucus plug 😬 just wondering how long it took everyone to go into labor after they lost theirs 😊 I’m still going into work, I’ve been cramping a lot for a week so I don’t want to assume that I’m going into labor when I’m not yet 😅

I lost mine about two weeks ago. That MFer can grow back.

If you're cramping a lot and they are timeable, you may already be in prodromal labor. I didn't lose my mucus plug until I was like 4-5 cm dilated and had been having persistent contractions for several days already.

I started losing mine in pieces two days before my baby was born! And with my first it was the same way.
