2 Month Old Running a Fever

My 2 month old had his first round of vaccines on Tuesday and last night (Friday) he felt very, very hot. I took his temperature with a temp gun and it ranged between 99-100.7 degrees. He was SO fussy and the only thing that calmed him down was me rocking him and holding him all night. This morning we woke up to a happy baby and he felt a lot cooler to the touch. He no longer has a fever. Would you still take him in to get checked? My husband took him near the ocean without a blanket 🤦‍♀️ the day he got a fever and he took him to Target in a stroller and kept touching his pacifier without washing his hands or he’d put a grocery item next to the baby because he thought it was cute...that’s a whole other topic 🙄🙄 and probably more me venting but anyways 🤦‍♀️ I don’t know if it’s related to the vaccines?? Or babies tend to get fevers that come and go?
