The best to avoid pregnancy and STD is to use condom and birth control if possible.  But condoms u should always use to practice safe sex and make sure the condom is not expired

Condoms are pretty effective and it usually helps to have birth control as well since it’s two forms of protection! However , if you don’t have birth control just be careful! Only use plan b if it is necessary which means if you have sex in your fertile window or on ovulation day and there’s a chance he came inside of you not the condom!
