Spotting

Hey ladies, we’ve been TTC for almost a year now. I already have 1 little girl and we never experienced this before since she happened almost instantly. I’m currently waiting for my period. It’s supposed to come Saturday. Today I wiped and there was some spotting. Very light pink with some dark spots. I’ve never spotted before so not sure if this could be implantation spotting?! I don’t want to get my hopes up but my hopes are up! What is your experience with spotting 6 days before your period? Did you lead to a successful pregnancy? Thanks!
