So I’ve been with my boyfriend for going on 3 years. He works and I work and go to school. Most of the time we do what he wants to do and I’m just tired of following him around. I’m 19 and he’s 23. I love him terribly but recently I’ve been nothing but irritated and annoyed by him. He constantly puts my job down because I don’t make as much as him and i just feel like his house maid. We have a lot together and I don’t think totally breaking up will necessarily make us happier. I know “taking a break” is not really a good idea but I need space and don’t know how to get that across. What do I do?
