How to ween from swaddling?

My little one is 4 months now and not rolling yet. But as soon as she does, SIDs guides tell you to get rid of the swaddle. 
My baby loves her swaddle. And sometimes she’s fussy until I pin down her arms for her. If she’s in a good mood she’ll sleep without it. 
How do we ween her out of the swaddle totally? Do we have to or are we just supposed to keep the arms out once she starts rolling?

My son was like this and would constantly wake up. Try a Magic Merlin suit or a zipadee zip if slowly loosening the swaddle doesn’t work.

With both my kids I just put them in a sleep sack with no transitioning. The first night was a little rough but then they were fine. I think sometimes we overthink it.

We transitioned at nap time by swaddling with arms in front then arms out, then no swaddle. Once nap time was all set, bed time was a piece of cake

I got a transitional swaddle and started with one arm out. Then tried both arms out. Its still snug enough around her legs and belly but allows her to move if she rolls. She hasn’t started fully rolling yet though (also four months). She only rolls to her side.

We started by wrapping loosely and loosening more and more over a couple of weeks. Like maybe every 3-5 days we’d do a little bit looser. Then we would keep one arm out and then both arms out and just wrap the belly. We didn’t use swaddles ever so my boy was just wrapped like a burrito in a flannel blanket and it was easy to adjust the tightness.
