Membrane sweep and induction

So throughout this pregnancy my midwife and social worker have been very condescending towards my partner due to him having autism and I just find it a little suspicious that my midwife booked an induction on my partner's birthday when my due date is only a few days away and my baby is safe and healthy and every other person I have asked at hospital have said that they don't understand why I've been booked for an induction. I also have a membrane sweep on the 10th this month and I am planning to ask my midwife why she thinks I need to be induced.
