Are these names at least somewhat okay?

My family hates them. My husband's family loves them. I am absolutely obsessed with them. We already have one son named marshall. For a boy we've decided on Odysseus Apollo. For a girl Kiernan Faye.

Well it sounds like they’re either characters from Shakespearean fan fiction or wannabe Greek mythology, but you do you. We’re not telling people the name until it’s on his birth certificate as you tend to get a lot less comments when it’s already official.

I love both Kiernan and Apollo for a boy, and I love Faye for a girl. 
Personally not a fan of Odysseus... not someone I’d want as a namesake.

Well, it's obvious that no one here knows who Odysseus was 😭 I rather enjoyed The Odyssey. As for the first name that you've chosen for your possible daughter, it's a beautiful Gaelic name that is literally ancient. I love neoancient naming. Remember this: they're your children. Your family and his, as like all the rest of us, get the chance to make decisions like this. So, it's ultimately up to you and husband. Care not what the naysayers have to say.

We named our dog Odysseus and call him Ody- but only because our female is Madusa and we went with god names. So if you’re into those types of names go for it! I’ve had so many comments on the names I like that are almost mean I just say go with your gut!!
