So I’m currently with my boyfriend and we’ve been together for a little over a year. Things have been going well for a while but I’m leaving in two weeks to go to basic training for the army. All together for basic training and the training for my job I’ll be gone for six months across the country. I keep having thoughts of how this will change our relationship while I’m gone. We’ve had problems in the past where he’s cheated and I’ve forgiven him and we’ve moved past it but I can’t help but to think if it will happen again with me being gone for six months. Due to the pandemic I’m not even sure if we’ll be able to see each other much and we’re both pretty sexual so I’m trying to think of the best way to go about this. This is so new to me and I’ve never even attempted to be in a long distance relationship because I wasn’t even sure if I could do it 🤦🏽‍♀️ I love him and I trust him but I just don’t want the chance of ending up in the same situation again..
