Started light bleeding last night

Had a hospital apt today with midwife and bleeding has gotten more red . I showed the midwife and she said with blood like this it’s more likely to be a miscarriage only very few stop and go on to have a healthy baby

When I got home it has gone to a lighter brown discharge . With slight cramping ... could this be stopping?? Could I be lucky and it stop ?? Does that happen , I’m so heart broken and trying not to stress but it’s so hard
