I’ve been talking to this guy for 6 months. I’m a single mom, work and go to school full time and any free time basically goes towards my daughter. He’s in school full time also and in the process of starting his business. We live 1.5hrs away from each other so we don’t hang out that often, but we talk all throughout the day. He saw me for my birthday last weekend, and just mentioned that he’s having a hard time balancing things and I was like “oh do you want me to give you time?” And he said “it’s not you lol” and I was like “yeah but I know you have things going on and I wouldn’t want to be a problem or make things harder” so he was like “if that’s how you feel, it’s up to you” so that gave him the impression that I didn’t really want this when I do. Right now I’m trying to talk it out and kind of get some clarity on where we stand. We understand each other is busy but I just want to know that we care about one another too. I’m very attached and seeing his work ethic motivates me to apply the same in my life but I’ve never been with a man like that before. Any advice?
