Preterm labor signs?

Im wondering what were signs that anyone has gone through for preterm labor? Im currently 28 weeks but this pregnancy has been extremely different to my first, with my first i was induced at 41 and 3 so i don’t know what to look for with labor coming on naturally. This pregnancy has been so different and i was forced onto medical leave at 15 weeks pregnant, and this baby has been sitting so low that i don’t look pregnant and i keep feeling a lot of pressure and occasional cramping. Im mostly curious as there is a history of preterm/early birth in my family, i am keeping in touch with my midwife to make sure she knows every change or odd feeling i have but i want to know some things to look for just incase i cannot get in touch with my midwife as i live 2 hours away from the hospital and bad weather can make the drive up to 4 hours long
