The baby oatmeal sold in stores is 4€ for 250g packet. I looked, the ingridients is 100% oats.

Regular oats are sold about 0.7€ per 1 kg.

That makes baby ones 16€ per kg and as regular ones are 0.7€ for the same amount, then baby oats is like 23 times more expensive.

Now is my question. Has anyone given baby "regular oats", because I for sure plan to to that, but how do you prepare it? Do you blend the porrige when it is done or do you mill the oats before making the porrige? I basically am sure, I can grind them with a coffe bean grinder before and I also can use an emersion blender afterwards. What have you found to work better?
