Backstory: this guy and I have been friends for years. Recently we’ve started making connections (catching feelings) as some would say. And he never said he was uncomfortable with being with someone that has kids. He says he doesn’t want to get attached to them. I don’t want my kids to get attached to anyone either. He doesn’t want kids and verbalizes about it often. My 3yr old has autism and one day when my guy came over (the kids were asleep) my 3yr old sat next to him. He didn’t make a big deal about it. But I was uncomfortable not knowing my either of them would react. He told me it’s okay and not to feel embarrassed. He says he’s willing to accept my kids for me. But he does bring up the fact that he doesn’t want kids often. Am I overthinking???
