5 Months..Bitter Sweet

I am completely obsessed! I can’t help it.

Every day I think about my birth story. 18+ hours of hard labor. Her cord being so short and developed without coils. How she inhaled air and was slipped back into the water by my midwife and inhaled water. (Water birth) (How I didn’t know this occurred until she was 3 months old when I received my birth video) How she came back up blue and not breathing. How they gave her rescue breaths and told us over and over to talk to our baby. The relief I felt when I finally heard her cry. How I kiss her a little bit longer and hold her a little bit tighter because things could have went a different route. My sweet girl! My sweet Aaliyah Destiny!
