I went in for my weekly appointment yesterday and got checked. In 1cm dilated and 20-30% effaced. She said doing this check could cause some spotting.

I woke up this morning with spotty cervical mucus (to be expected) but I’m also crampy and feeling nauseous. Are these normal “side effects” from being checked too? There is no way that could have jumped started labor, right? Although I wouldn’t be mad 💁🏻‍♀️ lol

Anyone else had this?
