When did your babies start talking

I don’t want to compare babies of course but my son is 20 months and he doesn’t talk yet he does A LOT of babies babbling, and a bunch of cute side effects however with him almost being 2 i would think he would have a few words by now, he says momma but other than that he babbles all day long LOL !! no rush to get him to talk though lmao

I’d get him evaluated for early intervention for speech. He should be saying things by now.

My kid will be 2 in April. He says words like momma, daddy, dada, yeah, no, stop, what's that? Lol so he's getting there slowly along with intertwined baby talk too. 
I think its worth mentioning to your pediatrician hon.

My oldest did not have a ton of words at first. He could say words, didn’t always make sense haha. Once he hit two he just exploded with words and talking. He is receiving speech right now for his sounds.

I was worried about my first and around 21 month the kid popped off with sentences and has an incredible vocab now!

My pediatrician said between 18 months and 2 years they should be able to say 2-3 word sentences, like “dada up!” Or “mama no milk” etc. 
Most toddlers are very difficult to understand but if you as mama can’t understand him and it’s truly just babbling, I would reach out to your pediatrician. He may need a little extra push in the right direction.

My son is 18 months and does the exact same thing. He says mum all the time and sometimes dadda and yeah. But he just babbles a lot and doesn’t say anything else. He understands when you talk to him because if I tell him to bring something to his dad he will. But not talking. I’m just waiting for the day he wakes up and just starts saying a bunch of words lol
