Lightning crotch with extreme Braxton

Help!  I'm 35 +5 and for almost 2 days straight I've been having sharp stabbing pain low in my hoo ha 😊 and at the same time I have extremely strong Braxton Hicks.....my midwife believes he's coming very soon.  I was wondering if anyone experienced this? It's painful and makes me double over in pain😞....any advice?  I just really hope he stays in there for another week at least. Maybe I'm just a terrified first time mom?
