Can I mix up formula in a bottle and put it in the fridge?

My baby hates warm formula as I never use to warm the water but then I read it’s important to boil the water to kill bacteria. 
Is it OK if I boil the water, mix the formula and then put it in the fridge? And how long is it good in the fridge?

I used to boil the water and then portion it into bottles and put it into the fridge. Then when baby wanted it I would just add the formula.

Buy the Dr Browns Formula Mixing Pitcher. It’s awesome! I was able to make 32oz of formula. It stays good for 24 hours. 😌

Formula once mixed usually is only good for 1 hour. So don't pre-mix your formula. Pre-fill bottles with water and put in fridge, sure - ans mix in the formula at time of use. Most formulas will tell you how long a bottle is good for after mixed. So don't stray from those recommendations.

You can either go ahead and boil the water and put just the water in a pitcher and make the bottles as you go, or the Dr brown brand has a formula pitcher. Just any formula put in the refrigerator has to be used within 24 hours.

I know that there's such thing as formula pitchers so you can make a batch once a day or whatever, but I don't know much more than that. I wouldn't think it'd be good for more than a day though
