Gifts for a new mom?

My friend is having a baby by c-section today and I wasn’t able to make it to her baby shower. I’ve never had a baby before, so I’m wondering what are some nice gifts for a mom who just gave birth?? He’s also her first baby!

Google postpartum baskets, a lot of those things are lifesavers and so helpful.

My favorite gift was for me, it had a face mask, chapstick, lotion, some bubble bath and some of those cute spiral hair ties. As soon as I was cleared for a bath I totally indulged. Best gift ever!!

I would say food or things she might need like breast pads for leaking boobs and diapers and wipes since she will most likely be going through those quite quickly.

She likely got loaded with clothes at the shower, and babies aren't supposed to  wear shoes until they're walking. You can't go wrong with Aden anais muslin blankets because you can use them for so many things. Food or gift cards for places she can order food delivery is also helpful, especially after c section. If she's comfortable, help with dishes or a load of laundry, as she can't do that for awhile post c section.
