Anyone ever feel like their raising their child alone, even if you still live with the father?

Everytime my boyfriend meets a new friend, he ignores the baby & i.  He'll be gone for hours and than bring me food to make up for it. I can't go anywhere because he has the car. And when I bring it up, his answer is you wanted the baby. Is anyone else have the same experiences? He's not cheating I know that but he doesn't want to be around us, only when it's convent.

Mind if I ask his age? Honestly, with men, age does contribute to their maturity level. It seems to me that he wasn't ready for a baby, and he either needs to step it up, or you need to get used to dealing with it till his mind matures a little. I tried making my daughter's father (when he was 20-22) be a part of her life, and it didn't work. You can't "make" a man do anything. My husband now is 25 and a better father than my daughter's bio father will ever be, even when he does have kids in the future.

Yes..when I was married to my sons father it was like i was a single mother from the day my son was born up until now and im not with him anymore. I woke up with him every night. I have the sleepless nights. I did all the diaper changes and baths
 I handled. All the doctors appointments.and sick.days. and.now that I'm not with him I do all of that and then some. It's only affecting him. My son is gonna be 6 in January and tells people his step daddy is his dad..he's told me several times he doesn't like his dad. My son's father is selfish and does nothing for or with my son.

I did in my last relationship! We had two kids together and he NEVER watched them alone! I always fed them, bathed them, changed them! It was horrible and draining!
