When to stop sterilising?

My baby is 9 months. When is best to stop sterilising bottles?

Lol I stopped after the first time I did it, which was when they were bought... I always just wash with hot water, never boiled them again. They’re 4 and 1 now lol

I only sterilized them before first use. After that never. Soap and hot water works just as well🤷🏻‍♀️

I just wore dish gloves and washed with soap and blazing hot water. My kids were fine.

According to medical research its cooled boiled water to make bottles until age 1. But as for sterilisation depends on your country, water supply, etc. But I have had 5 children and 35weeks with #6 I have always sterilised until 1 year. It prevents diarrhoea and vomiting why wouldn’t I take the extra time.

I personally stopped at around 14 months but still do her soothers and nipples once every 2 weeks just to be safe :)

I almost never sterilized. I washed in hot soapy water. I would occasionally run them through the dishwasher but not often or on a schedule.

I stopped sterilizing around 5 months. That’s when she started putting everything in her mouth all the time, chewing on her fingers and stuff. So I figured she’s getting germs in her mouth now so what’s the point anymore?
